UKOnline has announced that 24Mb broadband will be available from October . This matches the speeds promised by newcomer Be Broadband, and will keep UK Online top of the speed charts (it was, after all, the first provider to introduce 8Mb broadband back in November 2004).
These new speeds are made possible by ADSL2+ technology, which has been approved form commercial use in the UK.
