BT has changed its broadband packages so that it’s a little bit more straightforward.
BTYahoo! content, which was only previously available on BT’s premium services, is now available on all for broadband packages. Instead, BT now differentiates its packages as follows:
OPTION 1 ‘fast surfing’ £17.99: 2MB speed, 2Gb/month usage cap
OPTION 2 ‘more security’ £22.99: 2MB speed, 6Gb/month usage cap, PC anti-virus and firewall
OPTION 3 ‘wireless freedom’ £26.99: 2MB speed, 20Gb/month usage cap, PC anti-virus and firewall, free wireless modem/router
OPTION 4 ‘power surfing’ £29.99: 2MB speed, 40Gb/month usage cap, PC anti-virus and firewall, free wireless modem/router
I like the new packages: they’re simpler, and everyone gets more for their money
