Eclipse Internet now a safe bet

Eclipse Internet has just announced the launch of IronPort, a new security technology for the ISP’s network.

IronPort encompasses anti-virus and anti-spam solutions, so users are protected from viruses and Trojans as well as unsolicited emails, which makes it an ideal choice for business users as well as for the home.

This new technology follows a recent move by Eclipse Internet to “go green” and reduce it’s carbon emissions. It seems the ISP is leading the way in terms of providing an all-round package for customers, and is avoiding getting too caught up in the broadband rat race.

I think you’ll find its actually called IronPort! (www.ironport.com)

Sounds really good though! Spam has been a problem for Eclipse customers recently, so this will help a lot.

Ha! Thanks for that Alex, I have changed the post now to prevent confusion :)
You are right about it being a good move for Eclipse- they really seem to be trying to improve their overall image and service at the moment.

Eclipse suck big time - they shape traffic so heavily that I wouldn’t go near them for home use, never mind for business purposes. Adding anti-spam and anti-virus… big deal. Which businesses do you know that use an eclipse email account anyway?

This post isn’t worth the pixels it’s printed in…
