PlusNet has launched a new broadband offering aimed spcifically at the Gamers, and it looks good.
Broadband Pro will get you a stable connection with a low ping so the gaming experience is nice and smooth. You also get prioritised Gaming and VoIP traffic on this connection (8Mb).
The guys at PlusNet seem to know how it works though, they’ve given the Broadband Pro package free useage between midnight and 8am, so if you end up doing an all nighter it won’t use up all your bandwidth allowance (10GB).
You still get all the standard internet stuff - email addresses, firewall, anti-virus, webspace etc, and if you stick with the Pro connection for a year (it’s only a 1-month contract) you get the wireless router free.
I have been a highly satisfied customer of Plusnet for many years, and due to their referral scheme, now have a broadband connection that they pay me for!
