My iPaq keeps turning itself on

I find that after switching off my iPaq it automatically switches itself on again after about 15 minutes. It does not matter whether it’s plugged into the mains or running off batteries, it just keeps switching itself on. There’s no extra software installed besides Windows, so I’m at a loss as to why this is happening.

The most likely explanation is that your iPaq is automatically checking for new emails every 15 minutes. To stop this happening, open the Windows Mobile Inbox and click Menu > Tools > Options. Select your email account and work through the setup screen until you reach the one that contains the Automatic Send/Receive option. From the drop-down menu select ‘Manually’ and save the new settings. You will now need to click Menu > Send Receive to download messages.

My ipaq continues to turn on automatically when it's not connected to the PC. And this isn't including reminders.
