Zegari Barcelona laptop bag

If you think that most laptop bags look too casual, then behold Zegari's Barcelona bag. Although at first glance it resembles a posh school satchel, its luxurious soft shell and brown leather strip give it a seriously classy edge.

That’s not to say that the Barcelona isn’t practical. Hidden magnetic clasps keep the bag closed and there’s a rear pocket big enough for a newspaper. Of the two easy-access side pockets, one unzips to reveal an elastic strap for holding a bottle of water and the other provides a secure pouch for a mobile. Two internal pouches hold chunkier PDAs and smartphones, while inside the Barcelona there’s plenty of storage.

The laptop compartment snugly accommodates laptops with 15.4” screens, but smaller ultraportables are liable to slide around inside. Our only complaint is that, when in a hurry, the magnetic clasps don’t keep the bag securely closed and the silver buckle doesn’t help as it’s purely aesthetic. Quite why Zegari thought to attach a buckle that doesn’t actually do anything is utterly beyond us.
