After experiencing such a high volume of dissatisfied customers using the Broadband Genie website - Genie Group decided to launch a new forum for visitors, and to conduct some research into the root causes of their annoyance.
So far the results of the survey show (maybe not that surprisingly) that slow connection speeds are the largest cause of broadband-rage, with 40% of those surveyed noting rubbish speeds as the main cause of their anger.
However the stats also reveal that poor customer service and support is a major cause for concern. Customers seem particulary outraged about having to spend time making lengthly and expensive telephone calls to help lines, and not recieving accurate advice from customer service operatives.
