Hands-on with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phoneWe were rather surprised to see a queue outside the Regent Street Nokia store for the UK launch of the XpressMusic 5800 last Friday, but it seems Apple isn’t the only manufacturer able to whip people up into a buying frenzy.

Of course the fact that the 5800 XpressMusic isn’t available anywhere else until 20th February might also have persuaded some people to stand in the rain at a ridiculously early hour. And it might also explain why we’ve had to wait so long to get our hands on one, but our hands on one we have, er, got.
