Hands-on with the Asus Eee PC T91 tablet netbook

Asus Eee PC T91 hands-onWe covered the Eee PC T91 back at its announcement at CES, but the dim, noisy venue meant that we couldn't get much in the way of clear photographs or video footage. This terrible state of affairs has now been corrected – we've managed to get our mitts on a pre-production version of Asus' new tablet netbook and yes, we've shot a hands-on video.

We should point out that is this a pre-production Eee PC T91 and there will be a few changes before it actually goes on sale. This model also has an interesting addition that may, or may not, make it into the final version.

Update: As Sascha kindly points out in the comments, German site Netbooknews.de also has a hands-on video (in English), shot at the ASUS Taipei HQ, that shows the Eee PC T91 touch-screen user interface in action. (Thanks Sascha!)

Update 2: ASUS will be selling a version of the Eee PC T91 with onboard 3G through mobile operators (ASUS already offers the Eee PC 901 with onboard 3G with Orange). There's no news on which operators will be offering the Eee PC T91 yet though, so we'll keep you posted.
