March's top five broadband deals and special offers
Just when it looked as if we wouldn't get a spring at all, we've finally had some sun that isn't interspersed with snow or rain showers. It's still freezing, but hey, at least its bright and freezing. Spring is all about out with the old and in with the new, which applies to broadband as much as it does anything else - why not get yourself some free months, a gratis HD TV box, or a beauty voucher for your ma on Mother's Day?

Orange Broadband: March means Mother's Day, and what better way to celebrate than treating mum to a new broadband connection - oh, and a free beauty voucher. You can choose from a range of beauty treatments from selected salons, but you need to be quick and place your order by March 17. The offer is across a large range of Orange products, including both fixed and mobile broadband. clicking the Orange logo will take you to its site for its 'Home Max' fixed-line deal, offering a free wireless router, with free evening and weekend calls, for just £9.50 per month (plus £10.50 per month for your line rental). This is further reduced by £3 per month if you're also an Orange mobile customer. O2 Broadband: If you're already a happy O2 mobile customer, now is a great time to also become a happy O2 fixed-line broadband punter. Working on the premise that if you've stuck with your mobile deal it must be doing something right, O2 is further tempting you in with cheaper monthly rates, plus more freebies if you go for the more expensive broadband tariffs. The standard deal is only £7.50 per month for O2 mobile customers (down from £12.50), but the Premium and Pro (linked) deals are also down £5 (from £15 to £10 and £22.50 to £17.50 respectively) with the added bonus of £50 mobile credit. Sky Broadband: If you're looking for a TV and broadband deal, you've got until March 25 to get in on Sky's latest bargain offer. It has a range of 12-month deals which currently offer a free Sky+ HD box as well as a £25 M&S voucher, free wireless router and free evening and weekend calls. The cheapest contract starts at just £18 per month (with only 2GB per month broadband and a 2Mb restricted line), rising to £38 per month for unlimited broadband on a 20Mb line. BT: If you'd rather get a TV deal from good old BT, don't fear - it also has some good offers on at the moment. While the 'Talk, Surf and Watch More' deal may not have the catchiest name in Christendom, it does what it says on the tin. Until March 26, there is an online exclusive to get the added bonus of a free vision+ TV box, as well as free connection for a new line installation, if required. This is on top of getting the first three months of the 18-month deal at just £13.49, rising to £28.99 for the rest of the contract. For this you get the 'Bronze' TV package, including all the Freeview channels as well as two other viewing packs (kids, sport, music etc); 'up to' 20Mb broadband with a 10GB limit, plus your home phone (an extra £11.54 per month). Virgin Media: And then of course there's cable! If you live in a cabled area, which is about half of the UK, it also has some very tempting TV, broadband and home phone options. You can pick your broadband speed, with options from a pretty pedestrian 10Mb up to its market leading super speedy 50Mb broadband. Until March 31, the deals are sweetened by a range of online exclusive offers with everything from free installation and 20 extra TV channels to free months on top of £20 credit.
