Poll results: Are you a new or switching customer?

The result of our first Broadband Genie Poll have been announced - thanks to everyone who took part.

The poll shows that broadband is very much a switchers' market, with more than 70 per cent of participants looking to change their current provider and less than 30 per cent describing themselves as new broadband customers.

The final totals were as follows:

Broadband Genie has been helping people choose the right broadband deal for more than five years, during which time the market has begun to saturate, but we're more popular today than ever before. 

As broadband users become more savvy about the internet and the way they use it, they are realising there are cheaper and more efficient services available and using comparison sites such as Broadband Genie to find their perfect deal. It is a strong reminder to ISPs that they cannot rest on their laurels – the website receives hundreds of complaints from consumers who are taking action and choosing to switch provider.

The result of our first Mobile Broadband poll will be announced soon and there are now two new polls up on the site - please take part, so we can get a better idea about the world of broadband and hopefully make our service to you as good as possible.
