BT’s HomeHub hit with iPlayer problems

BT technical staff are currently investigating reports of problems with the company’s HomeHub router after a number of customers complained of problems with the streaming version of BBC’s iPlayer.

The problem was made aware to technical staff after a number of different customers posted complaints on online forums, including BT’s own. The main issue appears to be that the HomeHub router, built for BT by Thomson, automatically re-boots once the iPlayer starts streaming video.

The URL or name of the iPlayer content you’re having problems viewing and when during the recording the problems happen.

Broadband Speed
Location (Exchange if you know it)

I have updated to the latest Flash player as advised but have some extra information which might be useful.
I am now having trouble with Radios 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the Listen Again system. What I notice is that my router has a Data light which flashes when downloading anything from a website - normally!(Windows XP)(HomeHub 6.2.6.E)(I.E.6)(2Mb speed)
This happens in all normal circumstances and if a watch a video on Youtube or use Ebay or many other sites the Data light can be seen working away quite happily. On your radio sites this also happens if I listen to a station live and there is no problem. The data is transmitted to my router (BT Home Hub) continuously as the light keeps flashing and the program continues as normal.
If I try the Listen Again option the light does not flash and just stays on steadily. The system seems to have supplied enough data to run about 5 minutes of program. The router then clicks off and we have to start all over again! As the router cuts off the message on the iPlayer display says that it is buffering but no further data is gathered and so the program is lost. This has only happened since last week!
Strangely enough though if I try to catch up on a TV program that works fine (testing over 30 minutes or so) and the Data light keeps flashing as described before. It seems to me that either BT are blocking the system somehow, due to being unhappy with the BBC system , or there is a glitch somewhere in the buffering mechanism on your radio transmissions.
Could you please look into this with some urgency or negotiate over the over the problem with BT or I am going to miss a lot of the Prom season!

Since the BBC has switched to the iplayer for listen again, after about 5 minutes the hub disconnects the computer and I have to strt all over again. Just at the momement listen again is unuseable
