Eclipse launches 24mb broadband

Monday 06 October 2008

Eclipse Internet launched a new 24mb broadband offering last week and lowered the price of their minimum entry product 'Home Lite' - which is now available for £7.95 per month, for the first three months. For all users with a MAC code from their previous broadband provider, the connection cost for the setting up the Home Lite service is free, but with no MAC code there is an initial £30 cost. Contract length is fixed at 12 months for all packages; Home Lite, Home Select and Home Pro.

Usage Allowance is set at 2, 10 and 50GB respectively. However, users on the Home Pro package (£22.95 for the first three months and £25.95 thereafter) can make use of free overnight usage. As well as changes to their home broadband services, Eclipse Internet has also launched a selection of inclusive business internet services starting from £14.95 per month. All of the new offers include a bundled Eclipse TalkMore telephone service that gives customers 1000 inclusive minutes of calls to all UK landlines starting with the area code 01, 02 or 03 and flat rate charges to mobiles.
