TalkTalk to launch first ad campaign featuring Tiscali

TalkTalk has announced it will be launching its first advertising campaign since it acquired troubled broadband operator Tiscali in May. Launching next week, TalkTalk has revealed it has spent a significant seven-figure sum on this advertising project which will combine both press and outdoor campaign breaks as well as TV slots.

As part of this media drive the TalkTalk website will also be redesigned to feature graphics from graffiti artist Michael Bosanko. Night-time backdrops will be posted on the site displaying a number of locations across Britain such as Whitehall, Primrose Hill, Brighton beach and Canal Street in Manchester.

For existing Tiscali customers this campaign will offer the first chance to see how TalkTalk intends develop its newly-acquired service. Since the deal was announced, other than basic FAQs, very little has been published to advise customers on the future of Tiscali. Of course that also means there has been very little in the way of promotions and new service features. As part of the TalkTalk campaign a manifesto will be published highlighting the operator's visions for providing customers with improved broadband and phone services.
