I've been with these guys for quite a while now and, although not the cheapest, Freeola certainly provides the best VALUE! They always provide excellent support whenever there's a problem or if I need any ad hoc help. Their sister company, getdotted, is also excellent value for domain addresses.
All in all a good company to deal with.

After being dissatisfied with various other ISPs I have now been with these guys for years. Although not the cheapest, they have really good customer support. You won't be put through to some foreign call centre, and their tech staff actually know what they are talking about - this alone is worth the extra cost IMHO. Any problems I have ever had have usually been because of faults on my BT line. Their download allowances are adequate, with different tariffs available for those who require higher allowances. The broadband service comes with so many extras for free, like unlimited email addresses, website builder, reasonably priced domain names, free unlimited hosting of your domains purchased at their sister website getdotted.com. It's great for anyone wanting to set up a small business website. There are also optional paid-for add ons to the service like MySQL. Another plus is they have no minimum term agreement, so you can cancel at any time.

Update on Apr 09 comment: I was wrong about peak times on 2 counts - I recalled 8 to 10 when it was actually 8 to 12, but on the 2nd count the 12 o/c turns out to be 24:00 (i.e. midnight) Mon to Fri. My mistake, but I note that web-site now says "(midnight)" to ensure no more confusion. Ok, I still find peak usage limit adequate, but, taking actual peak timings into account, many Mon-Fri medium-high users wouldn't I suspect. Service very stable though and I have no complaints at all and domain renewals price is reasonable-ish, but not bargain. I remain very satisfied (reinforced by recent trawl of other ISPs), but the 1 month notice account means I can switch rapidly should I find better. Am looking forward to the local exchange upgrade late Oct 09 when some fraction of 24MB bandwidth should be available to me at no extra cost - I'm getting 6MB today on a 8MB connection so I'm optimistic. I like Freeola. Very ample peak/off-peak usage limits at reasonable price for all but (I suspect) the very most committed internet junkies/downloaders. Peak period is now just a few hours a.m. (can't remember specific times, but 8 to 10 o/c rings a bell). For those wanting BB on the very cheap, Freeola won't be their choice, but for generally high web users needing to pay around £19 upwards to get their usage rates and/or band-width and (from my experience) a hassle-free service, I reckon they're a very good choice. When I finally deciding time to try Freeola (after many years with one of the top user-rated and amusingly-named providers) I was very surprised to find my recorded usage dropped dramatically despite increased internet radio usage etc. Infer what you like because I'm just reporting my experience.

Agree with the original post by Pete here. Customer support are friendly, although if you want a quick call they respond and drop the niceties to deal with your issue quickly. Never had a bad word to say, even after they had to fix my BB issue (turned out to be a problem at the exchange?)
Good deals if you know what you are doing.

Wish I could agree with previous review from Pete.

E-mail is very unreliable and customer service just don't seem interested.

Connection speed varies a lot and right now I'm unhappy and looking at alternatives.

And they have *never* called me or offered anything extra.
