    I went for the Pro package bought direct from pipex-broadband.net .

    Having got the free router I waited for my previous provider to make the transfer. Thankfully it was done overnight so I had no loss of service.

    The intructions for the Thomson TG855 were clear and conise so the set up was very simple even for me.

    Once online I was keen to try it out, I surfed for a while before downloading a number of larger files. Happily I noticed that the speed was much better.

    I also used a speed testing site over a few days to gauge how fast the download and upload averages.

    My line could manage upto 8meg , so I was happy to see an average of just over 6 and an upload average of about .8 .

    All in all I'm more than happy with the service so long may it continue.
