    Would a portable aerial on a Laptop Boost a Dongle such as a T Mobile Dongle

    What I use to do before buying a Mifi device was to use a USB extension cable and stick the dongle on the end of the cable to a window at high level using one of those rubber sucker things you can get to fix Xmas lights to your windows.

    Worked for me but having the cable trailing around is a bit of a chore hence the Mifi.
