I have been a Tiscali (Talk Talk) customer for many years, but their service has got worse ovr the last 18 months, so I am looking to change and logged into Orange site and their site gve me stats about speed etc but then said "they could not provide me with package", also O2 stated they could not do so without installing a new line.
Is there some sort of protectionism going on ?

Report abuseI don't think there's any protectionism going on, it's probably just that O2 and Orange are not available at your exchange. You can use the SamKnows exchange search to see what's available: http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_search
