Is the Huawei E353 compatable with an android tablet? If not, what is? I am having trouble finding out this information. Thanks

Only 100% sure way is to use a Mifi device as I have use countless tablets with mine although that said I think Ice Cream Sandwich machines are a bit better at plug and play devices these days so a dongle may suffice but I have my doubts.

Mifi’s are more expensive than dongles but are very reliable but if I were in the market today I would think about using a cheap Android smartphone (can be had for about £50 these days (or even a dear one if you need a new phone)) and using its Portable Wifi Hotspot. Very easy to set up and can do the same job as a Mifi device. One thing to be aware is, if your provider has any objection to tethering as most do but if you buy data as an add on (example 3 network PAYG data sims)most network will take no notice but don’t say I said so.

If you've not bought a tablet already you could find one that has a SIM card slot built in, that'd save you having to carry around an additional device.
