    Hi Debbie,

The majority of dongles will work fine with Linux, although the broadband suppliers won't provide you with the right software to support it, or give you technical advice. However, the Linux community is a thriving and friendly one, so you should be able to get up and running in no time.

Once you've decided which mobile broadband deal suits you, we'd advise you check the dongle model and head over to a site such as TuxRadar to ensure it's compatible and get the help you need in getting online.

Once you have your dongle, if you find yourself desperate for WiFi, check out the dongle dock which can turn a 3G dongle into a personal Wi-Fi hotspot
