    is there a website that shows the best potential mobile broadband speeds for a certain place?

    Hi,
    You can use the BT Broadband Checker tool here. That will show an estimated speed for home broadband when you enter a postcode.

    thanks i know how to find landline broadband speeds.
    what i wanted to know was mobile broadband speeds, and which network is best?

    Vodafone
    3
    Orange
    O2
    Virgin

    Each goes to the online coverage check for a network so you can see which has the best signal and speed in your area. To get the best performance you'll need a good 3G connection.
