Hi there, I have been offered the loan of an internet usb dongle. Given that I shall have to return it to the owner, I was wondering if it stores all the emails i access and send, web pages I open and so on. Can you advise please?

    Hi Graham,
Dongles don't store any information. Some have memory card slots so they can double as memory sticks but you have to manually copy files across. Whether you access web mail or download your email to your computer no details will be saved to the dongle.

    Hi Matt,

Thank you very much for the information. It was just that I had seen that some USB internet pens/sticks/dongles had a download limit, and I guess I was wondering how it would be cleared.
