Hi, Ive been given an old dell laptop from my dad and i would like to set it up for my kids to use however it does not have wireless capability. Please let me know what i can buy to enable me to link it to my home wireless setup. Many thanks,

    Hi Lou,
There are wireless USB dongles which plug into a spare USB port on the system and enable wireless access for any computer.

If you go to a store like Maplin or PC World they'll probably set you back around £15-£30. Online you could get one cheaper. The system will ideally have Windows XP, but you can still buy dongles that claim to support Windows 98 and Me, so it's not a huge problem if the operating system is older.

Once you've got the USB stick just follow the instructions to install the software and connect to your wireless network.
