I have a T-Mobile dongle, model 120 from ZTE. The best download speed availiable was 0.33 Mbps and upload was a horrifying 0.01 Mbps. I have full signal. Anyone got any ideas?

Have you definitely got a 3G signal, and not a 2G or GPRS connection? If so, have you spoken to T-mobile customer services? These problems can be caused by issues with your local cell station.

3G signals can be forced by using the software that was installed on your PC/Laptop. if your prefered network is set to automatic, your best signal could be 2G but if you force 3G, your speeds will increase most defiantly.

I believe you are in the same issue as me however i have been able to work around it
the results you are getting is because of the Proxy they use *(You may notice this when sites load and you see something like loading from 1.2.3.4,1.2.3.9 etc)

You simply need to disable the proxy then re run the speedtest i managed to get 2.2Mbps.

You need to force headers to send

    Pragma: no-cache

    Cache-Control: no-cache

check this out for more info http://www.lewiz.org/2007/01/hacking-t-mobile-web-proxy.html

    and good luck
