    Hi, is mobile broadband secure? I have bank accounts online, would it be safe to access them via mobile broadband? many thanks, thomas

    Hi Thomas,
    It's as secure as any other connection. There's no danger of anyone intercepting your details (unless you're being pursued by the CIA) and the service provider isn't allowed to peek.

    You are still at risk from viruses on your computer, though, just as you would be with any other connection. Some viruses are designed to steal bank details and email logins so make sure you've got an up-to-date virus scanner and anti-spyware tool installed and be careful not to open suspicious files or web sites. There are some recommendations for security tools in this blog post.
