The bad news is that - at time of writing - there are no cable services (so no NTL or Telewest) and no super-fast unbundled services from networks like Easynet and Homechoice. No regional wireless internet either, but then virtually nowhere has that yet, so it's fair enough.
The Genie says: "Broadband technology in Canterbury doesn't seem to have moved on since my days as Archbishop in the twelfth century AD: we used to download sermons and get the latest new hymns fed in by RSS, but could never ever get cable even then. Oh well."
