If you’re looking for an Android tablet PC with a difference, then look no further: the quirky little HTC Flyer really has the wow factor.
It has a seven-inch screen and is just 13.2mm deep, making it easily portable. But don’t let its diminutive size fool you – there’s an impressive 1.5GHz processor at work underneath, with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of on board storage memory (which can be doubled via a microSD card).
What makes the HTC Flyer really different though is HTC’s Scribe technology. The device comes with a ‘magic pen’ which you can use to write on the touchscreen, making notes on everything from web pages to photos to time-marking video and audio.
All the other bases are covered too: there are front and back cameras (the main is five-megapixel and the front-facing 1.3), while you can get connected via Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS. The 4000 mAh battery is good for up to eight hours of video playback (with Wi-Fi off), or around six-and-a-half hours of internet browsing.
