The Dell Inspiron 1545 may be fairly low on style but this little netbook delivers workmanlike performance considering its budget-level basis.
There's a 2.2GHz Intel Celeron processor and 2GB of RAM as well as a very acceptable 250GB hard drive. At just over 15-inches the screen plus built-in speakers provide a solid web browsing and multimedia experience. WiFi connectivity is present and there's a basic selection of ports.
A less impressive battery life makes the Inspiron 1545 more practical for short bursts of online activity and at over 2.5 kilos its weight lends itself more to desktop use than mobile outings.
