I originally had my mobile broadband with the Three network. I thought the service and connection was pretty poor, so I bit the bullet and decided to pay a little extra and go with T-Mobile's mobile broadband. All that there is to say is that it is awful. It indicated that I have a 'full' signal, however the connection has already dropped out twice while writing this review! It is actually worse than Three! Despite the terrible customer service at Three, I think they are the best of a bad bunch!

Ive had no problems with the signal on my payg connection but I do find it hard to understand why once the allowed download has been used why I can't pay more within 24 hours to be able to download more. Viewing a few vids on youtube or even a sky movie on low ret takes up all the allowed download, then I have to wait 24 hours from the time I topped up. I am allwed to browse and read emails but sometimes this isn't enough. Other than that I can't fault it.

Sorry but T mobile is useless utter rubbish, I have just come off the back of some reasonable service even getting consistent speed over 1GB for a couple of weeks but this was not to last. I am seeing comments saying all MBB users are subject to slow connections etc etc but why can T Mobile suddenly provide a good service for a couple of weeeks and then be as rubbish as usual surely if it can be done once it can be done again but I am thinking not..... do not touch T Mobile you will NEVER get a consistent connection

Had a t-mobile pre-paid dongle for a year as part of the laptops for schools scheme under gorden brown,so we got a Dongle from Comet with 12 month free on it, laptop bag - mouse - ect.
T-mobile are all huawei like every other company use the same company too, from 02/vodaphone/3....they all have the same make but in saying that, i had a full year of t-mobile Dongle as i said, but it would have a couple of gig per month ,then when it went over that limit you can still browse but not high content such as you-tube it was ok for light users who go on facebook or twitter as there not high content just basic programs.
I know it's bliss when your little dongle lights - up blue means your getting full 3g like an i-phone to use as an example, but all in all it was a good way to access the net for a year. I was already using a vodaphone Dongle before on my P.C and that would cost £15 per week P.A.Y.G and i am not joking for around 8 month to a year. You do get better reception in different area's in your home, but it is not for heavy downloading of any kind as it would take all your gig use up in a couple of days, these Dongles were road tested in Japan and they put a satalite many years ago and you can download any movie in 2 minites as thats where all our Tech actually comes from right down to a Dongle, after having my t-mobile that i have kept as part of the package i could not get it to work as it was on a 12 month pre-payment but after a few calls it was ok,but it got worse before i made the call i ran out and bought a Vodaphone new Dongle in March and it just would not work on my windows 7 pro but it ended up the B-T fella came the next day and now i have the new curved -Hub and it's got 4 months free broadband and it's £13.50 a quater so there are loads of Dongles out there but to end with your U.S.B port can take a hammering too as un-plugging and re-plugging these dongle's can have a adverse effect on your ports and how each U.S.B can clog - up the ports for some wierd reason.
To be honest i would never go back to a Dongle ever again as they do work fine but when they fail they fail badly and have never changed as people are still writing to the providers and still complaining constantly about how bad they really are which is partly true but it's up to the user at the end of the day. HSDMA + 3G are what mainly will pop-up and it is similar to an i-phone only the i-phone is made by Apple who are the best laptops in the world FACT.

Avoid T-Mobile like the plague. My dongle is constantly slow and that's even if it can be bothered to work! I live in the city centre of Plymouth so signal shouldn't be an issue. I'd do yourselves a favour and choose another network as I will be too!

i live in north london, using t-mobile broadband and my connection speed is around 1 to 2 kb/s from 3 pm till 2 after midnight if im lucky, ive complained to t-mobile several times, they just make promises " a complete reconstruction of their system and so on" and every month its getting worse, took me almost 5 minutes to loads this page, dont listen to their ads award winning and all that crap, its total and absolute RUBBIIISSHHH, if u live in a heavily populated area dont even think about it, you,re just wasting u,re money, i cant get a landline here where i live at the moment(thank god im moving in 3,4 moinths time) and i have no choice.... they dont have the technology yet, probably it,ll get better in the next 5 to 10 years, i hope so, but at the moment dont even think about getting it,if people keep buying it they think its ok ,but if people stop buying and start canceling their contracts like what im gonna do when i move, they have to do something about it, so for gods sake dont if u can get a landline please do so, dont waste ur money on this, thx

I am trying to stay calm while I give my opinnion of t mobile dongles. OK. Download is like being back in the early 1990's. It goes from blue to green faster than traffic lights. I mtime out more time a day that ever before. Can't load page...lost count. T mobile customer services tell me I have a good signal??????????? while typing this short note I have gone blue to green and back five times. Oh! Blue is the considered GOOD signal. signal bars...zero to 2 bars, at best. Now don't laugh. T mobile tell me I must pay for my FULL contract......I don't think so. I haqve enough witnesses to the quality (or lack of) that I am getting.
Save your money. additionally, my neighbour has 3 mobile. 5 bar signal ALL the time.
    Nuff said.

T-Mobile provides the worst phone and mobile broadband out there. Be aware don't go near them. One day it works the next it dosen't, same place same time of day also you get told that you are online but with zero downloads - then they have the cheek to tell you that you have used 80% of your allowance. How the hell can you use up the 3 gig allowance when the thing dosen't work 80% of the time. Poor service, rubbish staff and basically a rip off - that's the best summing up of T-Mobile I can give.

    I'll say it again.
This deal is beaten by 3Three.
Simply all I'll say, if you can get 3Three signal go for thier deal, £15-16 per month for 15Gig.
Always support the highest usage available!
If you wan more than 15Gig, go for '3's' 'The One Plan', TRUELY UNLIMITED INTERNET. Tethering your 3 phone.
Currently, 3 are the highest provider. If you can get their signal go for 3.
    Thanks.

TO all concerned ,I have been with t-mobile now for over 3 years and found them very helpful in all aspects.if I have any problems I go to there technical team and they have been more than helpful ,I would certainly recommend them, I drive around the country in my m/home using my ibm x41thinkpad & t-mobile dongle and found the reception quite good in most areas, I also may add I use the dongle all the time as it is my only broadband I have G W B

The broadband T-Mobile stick I have is abysmal. I have had to reinstall the software 4 times over the last 12 months. An unistall doesn't remove all references in the registry, hence the new install refuses stating that various portions are still installed. This results in having to hack the registry, not recommended for basic users. The software is written by an eastern country and would fail every QA test in the UK. Coverage is basic and the speed is about as good as I got on dial up in Africa. As soon as my current subscription expires I'm getting a different vendor.
