Your guys are sort of wrong, there is no iPhone 3G solution for Android OS, only iPhone 2G! It says clearly in the README file to the bundle you guys are linking to, "These instructions describe how to build an Android system for iPhone 2G from sources. "
How to install Android on the iPhone

An iPhone that can dual-boot iPhone OS and Google Android would be a dream come true for some people, but that’s just what one Linux boffin claims to have achieved.
Writing at his Linux on the iPhone blog, ‘planetbeing’ explains that he has managed to compile a version of Android for the original iPhone 3G and has it running via the Open iBoot bootloader — an open-source equivalent of Apple’s own iBoot bootloader.
We’ve seen similar ‘hacks’ before that have been faked with VNC connections to a remote computer, but this one looks like the real thing — take a look at the video that shows Android in action:
If you want to try Android for iPhone for yourself, you can download a pre-compiled OS image — just bear in mind that this is version 0.1a and it only works on a jailbroken iPhone 3G.
