Dell's "ice-thin" laptop

Dell has launched a new laptop for the Christmas season, which is described as “ice-thin.” The XPS M1530 is based on the same design as the XPS M1330, launched earlier this year.

The new laptop weighs 2.6kg and has a 23.7mm profile. Other features include, a high definition, widescreen 15.4-inch display, DirectX 10 graphics-compatibility, 2-megapixel webcam, fingerprint reader, touch-sensitive media buttons, HDMI support and Wi-Fi. Optional extras include, Bluetooth, a Blu-ray Disc drive, plus a travel remote that is stored in the ExpressCard slot. It’s available in Tuxedo Black or Crimson Red. Prices start from £699.
