Hacker squeezes touch-screen, GPS and 4-port USB hub into Packard Bell EasyNote XS

Everex Cloudbook modsWe were singularly unimpressed with the Packard Bell EasyNote XS, but it’s been getting a somewhat warmer reception in the US as the Everex Cloudbook. Just as some owners have taken to cramming in all manner features into the Asus Eee PC, the Cloudbook has also found favour with some hackers and Cloubook aficionado ‘Azazel’ has managed to squeeze a touch-sensitive screen, 4-port internal USB hub, GPS receiver 4Gb of flash memory into his model. There are no images of his finished work yet, but you can see what he’s been up to at the Everex Cloudbook Forum.
