Google Docs goes offline with Google Gears

Google Apps offlineGoogle has upgrade its online office suite Google Docs to make it available offline via Google Gears. So, you can now work on your documents even when you don’t have an internet connection, just like you can with a traditional office suite like Microsoft Office. As great as this new feature is though, it’s not quite so powerful as the computer-free access Google is rumoured to be working on. There’s a video that explains how it all works after the cut.
