Intel demos Centrino Atom-powered laptops

Intel Centrino Atom laptopIntel has been demonstrating a number of Centrino Atom-powered laptops at its developer forum in Shanghai this week. Asus has already announced plans to incorporate the Atom into its Eee PC 900, but two other manufacturers already have Atom-powered Eee alternatives up and running.

Thinno (no, really) has two laptops on show, one running Linux and the other Windows XP. Both have 1.6GHz Atom processors, 512Mb RAM and 7in 800 x 480 screens. The other laptop appears to be a mystery prototype.
