MSI Wind available for pre-order - final spec and pricing revealed

MSI WindMSI's Wind has finally gone on pre-order, ready for its eventual launch, and with it we now have the final spec and pricing. Available in black, white and pink, the 10in version will cost £319.95 with Linux or £349.95 with XP Home.

Details on Expansys's website show it'll have the 1.6GHz version of the promised Atom processor, combined with a generous 80GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and a 1.3mp webcam.

Expansys hasn't given an actual shipping date but everything looks set for the planned June release.

    This one seems to have crossed over from the original Asus concept into a different territory. It's cute but with a mechanical hard drive I can't imagine class leading battery life even with LED ilumination.
