Asus to announce Eee PC 901 with Intel Atom processor and WiMAX
Asus will announce an Intel Atom-powered Eee PC 901 at Computex tomorrow – complete with built-in WiMAX.
The Eee PC 901 will be formally launched tomorrow, along with and the WiMAX Eee PC 901 will be one of the models announced. According to the press release, it “will fulfil the concept of ‘connectivity without boundaries”’ for the new era of Internet connectivity”. The photos are much more interesting, though – after the cut.


Jonathan Tsang, Vice Chairman of Asus said: “Imagine carrying the Eee PC, and while travelling or at a café, connect to the world in just 20 seconds – just like carrying a portable gateway to the world. Combining the Eee PC with WiMAX will surely provide revolutionary and unique user experiences for everyone.”
