First pics of Lenovo's X200 ThinkPad

Lenovo Thinkpad X200We heard rumblings back in April that Lenovo's ultra-thin Thinkpad X300 would be getting some siblings and now we have a photo of the first offspring. This shot of the 12in X200 has been leaked on Chinese site, 51nb.com.

The main noticeable difference is the loss of the trackpad but thankfully the site also has a handy spec list so we can see inside the sprightly 1.32kg body. Lurking under the magnesium alloy chassis is a 45nm Intel Centrino 2 + VPro Core 2 Duo CPU running at up to 2.4GHz and optional 64GB SSD storage alongside standard 200GB or 320GB drives.

It also boasts up to 9.6 hours of battery life from its 9-cell battery - an impressive feat, although likely to be hit significantly once the various WiMax and GPS options are turned on.

51nb has it slated for a mid-July release so expect official details and pricing soon.
