Beeb to bring iPlayer to Nokia N95

BBC iPlayer on Nokia N95The march of the BBC iPlayer continues. Not content with making its mark on the iPhone, the Beeb's head of digital media, Anthony Rose, has announced it could soon be coming to Nokia's N95.

The corporation's made no secret of its plans to make iPlayer available on as many devices as possible. It can already be accessed via Virgin Media's set top box, as well as on Windows PCs, Macs - and now Linux machines.

The N95 looks set to be the next step for the mobile version - which would presumably pave the way for other Series 60 phones. Rose has also announced plans to make iPlayer available via third party sites such as Facebook - useful if you get bored of playing Scrabble.
