3 days = 1 million iPhone 3Gs
Ending much speculation about sales projections, Apple has announced it's already sold one million new iPhone 3G around the world. The million mark was reached yesterday after just three days.
That's exactly 71 days less than it took to sell a million of the original iPhones. Sales have been boosted by the simultaneous worldwide release, which say iPhone 3G go on sale in 21 countries, rather than just the one.
It's also been a good week for the new app store, now celebrating 10 million downloads since its launch late last week and more than 800 apps available - including 200 free ones.
Sadly, it's not all been plain sailing. As well as mucking up delivery of our review model, O2s been having trouble activating SIM cards for handsets bought as far back as Friday.
A website's been set up detailing the problems that largely relate to iPhone 3Gs purchased from Carphone Warehouse. Let us know if you're having any trouble.
