Stereo Bluetooth comes to iPhone 3G

Wish your shiny new iPhone 3G could pump stereo music to your stereo Bluetooth headphones? Don’t mind making your handset look really rather silly? Well, Brando’s new Infinxx AP 23 could be just the thing you need.

It’s essentially a dongle for the iPhone (or iPod Touch, Nano, Classic or Video for that matter) that plugs into the dock port and adds support for A2DP Bluetooth connections, so you can get the full left-right audio experience from your iPod software. It also supports the Bluetooth’s Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), so you can have mastery over the iPhone’s playback from a distance.

We’d end the story there but Hong Kong-based Brando’s product description is so brilliant that it’s worth repeating in full here.

The Smallest, Silmmest & Lightest Design, You can "FREE" your iPhone NOW! With this Tiny"About 5 grams" Adapter, You can enjoy Excellent High Quality Stereo Music from Both your iPhone 2G / 3G, and iPod, iPod Touch, without the Trouble of Wire Anymore!! It should be the "Must Get" item for your iPhone and iPod. Freedom from Wires Today!!”

Oh, yes it does, but Apple have wisely decided to disable the A2DP profile to prevent confusion in mind of Apple-wise customers who like things nice and simple, like sticking with good ol' fashioned wired headphones.
