Blackberry Thunder due 8th October?

Blackberry ThunderWord on the street - or at Fudzilla at any rate - is that the RIM's answer to the iPhone, the touchscreen Blackberry Thunder, could be rolling in on 8th October - that's just over two months' time.

The guess is based on a supposed Verizon launch date in America - though whether that means there'll be an Apple-style multi-region launch that day or just the US isn't yet clear.

The Thunder is just about the most anticipated BlackBerry since RIM first made it out of the boardroom and on to the highstreet and with details leaking daily it can't be far off release. The latest extra snippet of information is that it'll have a 3.2mp camera - beating iPhone's 2mp - and get a MicroSD slot. Two-nil to RIM already then.
