LG KC910 set to succeed Viewty

As if the Blackberry Bold wasn’t sufficient to prove that there’s now only one phone design – the iPhone design – LG is set to launch another iPhone lookalike, the KC910.

Intended to replace the company’s existing Viewty model, PhoneArena is reporting an impressive set of specifications for the KC910. Among the headline features are quad-band GSM/HSDPA, an 8-megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD slot – iPhone-beaters, every one. This display, meanwhile, is said to be a 3in WQVGA (240x400-pixel) affair that is, of course, touch sensitve. But there’s more (quite a lot more, in fact), so read on after the cut.

According to PhoneArena, the camera on the LG Viewty follow-up, the KC910, will include a Xenon flash and ISO that goes right up to 1600. As well, it will be able to capture video at up to 30fps in VGA, or 120fps at QVGA. Moreover, the camera will apparently benefit from other fancy features, like face detection, manual focusing and image stabilisation.

The KC910 will also have hard-to-better multimedia specifications, including support for DivX and Xvid video playback and Dolby sound. PhoneArena reckons the KC910 will appear in October this year but we’ve no word yet on UK availability.
