Shots emerge of the HTC 'Touch HD'

HTC 'Touch HD'Could this be the new HTC Touch HD? The in-hand snaps of the large screened beauty certainly look real enough - complete with a convincing  'Device Information' screen giving all the HD's juicy details away.

As well as the hi-res 480 x 800 screen, offering two and a half times the details of the iPhone's 480 x 320 display, the screenshot reveals the mystery device packs a 528MHz Qualcomm 7201A processor and 288Mb of RAM. More details after the cut.

Fleshing out the details, Modaco, which published the photos, says it comes in at a near-iPhone 115 x 63 x 12mm, has a 5mp camera (without a flash), and "GPS/HSDPA etc. etc.". Hopefully the two "etcs" stand for 'Wi' and 'Fi'.Rather tantalisingly it also says it'll be "in stores for Santa" - time to rewrite our Christmas wish list.
