T-Mobile confirms 23rd September for Android launch

HTC DreamNot long to wait now. T-Mobile has finally confirmed what reporters in the States have been writing - that 23rd September will be its launch date for its Android-based Dream.

Engadget reports that the New York Event will include the obligatory presentations from T-Mobile and Google execs followed by some good, honest hands-on demos of the device.

There's still no confirmation of exactly when it'll go on sale. The latest from T-Mobile UK is that we'll be getting our hands on it some time in 'Q4' this year - so that's any time from next month.

UPDATE: CrunchGear reports it'll be available from 20th October in the States and will come in three colours: black, white and, er, brown.
