Palm Treo Pro shipping soon - or not

Palm Treo ProSome confusion over at Palm this week. The US Palm Store website has sent fans into a flurry with an availablity status on the Palm Treo Pro of "IN STOCK, usually ships in 1 - 2 full bus. days."

Sadly for those who pre-ordered, that status seems a little premature. A Palm rep has told Treo Central that there was "an error with the site and the 1-2 business days listing is wrong," adding,"it may not ship until the 1st or 2nd week of October." Boo!

Incidentally, the UK store is still taking pre-orders for £399 despite saying that "Order fulfilment will commence... week beginning 15th September". Meanwhile Vodafone is taking Business orders, while Expansys estimates availability in five days.

    I received my tracking last Friday. I will see if I will receive it on Monday.
