Get hands on with T-Mobile's G1 right now

We still have a few weeks to wait before T-Mobile’s Android-based G1 smartphone is available in the UK but, if our earlier hands-on with the device has left you wanting more, then you’ll be thrilled to hear that the mobile operator has made available an online G1 emulator.

Head on over to http://tmobile.modeaondemand.com/htc/g1, click the Emulator link and away you go.

As well, the website hosts a 360-degree view of the G1, allowing you to flip the phone around to view it from all angles. You can even flick the screen open and closed without fear of the plastic gearing snapping. Great fun but why isn't the browser screen fully enabled?
