Dell Inspiron Mini 9 on sale now - free

Dell’s Inspiron Mini 9 is available to buy as of now in UK Vodafone shops. As we reported last month, the machine will be ‘free’ when customers sign up for a two-year, £25/month contract (which includes a 1GB data allowance); £30/month will get you 3GB of data.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is now available to buy from Vodafone UK in store.  Pricing will start from free on a 24 month contract at £25 per month for 1GB data use.

The Inspiron Mini 9 is the perfect Internet companion, delivering internet connectivity in a slim, piano black design. Complete with a Vodafone SIM, and pre-installed mobile broadband connectivity software, the Mini 9 eliminates the need to use an additional USB modem to connect to the web.  This makes the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 the ultimate in portable computing and gives customers an easy and quick way to connect to the Internet and catch up with emails in a single device wherever they are. Users will also appreciate the increased battery life and network reception with integrated mobile broadband when compared to using a separate USB modem plugged into a netbook.

 

Weighing in at only 1.035kg, the Inspiron Mini 9 includes a built-in webcam, Bluetooth, sealed keyboard, reliable solid state disc (SSD) drive, and bright 8.9-inch glossy LED display (1024x600).  

 

From mid-October customers will be able to buy online at www.vodafone.co.uk/netbooks

 

Vodafone UK has invested millions of pounds over the past two years to roll out its high speed mobile broadband network across the UK.  Over the summer, this investment has grown to make high speeds available in Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, and Reading, joining London and major airports.  On average, customers can expect speeds of 1 to 5Mbps.
