Pre-order G1s sell out in US

T-Mobile G1It's not the prettiest of phones but that hasn't stopped folks in the US rushing to buy the first Android powered handset, T-Mobile's G1.

The network says it's now sold all of its pre-order inventory - due to be shipped out to US punters on 22nd October - despite tripling the number available. The only thing it forgot to mention is how many handsets that actually equates to.

So for those looking to get one in the UK next month, remember to get your pre-order in early - or prep the sleeping bag for a night on the pavement.
