Nokia 5800 XpressMusicNokia's been a little modest in comparing the new 5800 XpressMusic to its closest rival the Apple iPhone 3G - and now we know why. News from India is that Nokia is prepping an even higher-end touchscreen to sit in its N-Series range and really take the fight to Apple. Read on.

Nokia's head of marketing in India, Devinder Kishore, has been telling CellPassion that an announcement could be on the way before the end of the year, with the device rolling out early in 2009.

Word is that that's not the end of it either. Low-end touchscreens are also on the cards to fill out the range. From being one of the last to embrace the touch revolution, Nokia could be about to be one of its biggest proponents.
