Countdown to Christmas, 2 days: Lenovo IdeaPad S10e

If you spotted our online shopping Christmas cut-off times post yesterday, you'll know that time has all but run out for any last minute present chasing. But, there is still one last chance to avoid the high street and bag some gadgets from Ebuyer - if you order by 10pm tonight. Our money's on a netbook as your best bet to spread festive cheer so may we suggest Lenovo's new baby, the IdeaPad S10e.

Still wet behind the ears from its November launch, it boasts a 10.2 in 1024 x 600 screen, Intel Atom N270 processor and costs £291.71 at Ebuyer with 1GB and a 160GB hard drive.

Sadly it comes with the standard three-cell battery, so you might want to upgrade to six-cells after Christmas, but it does sport the S10e's unique selling point - an ExpressCard slot, for all your expansion needs.

If that doesn't float your boat, the Samsung NC10 is also in stock, along with a smattering of Eee PCs, the Toshiba NB100 and MSI Wind U100. If you're just after the cheapest web surfer, the 8.9in Asus EEE PC 900A can be yours with 1GB RAM, 8GB SSD and Linux for £183.58. Just remember to choose the half price Next Working Day delivery if you want to get it in time.

Oh - and if you're really leaving it late you can still order from Amazon.co.uk up to 8.30 tomorrow morning for delivery to London or Birmingham. Santa's obviously leaving them till last.
